On Saturday at Te Kotuku festival we did a performance and it was cool. When we went on the stage our group Te Mūra ō Tāmaki were nervous. When we finished the first item I wasn't so nervous, after the whole bracket was finished we then we had a kai. We had bananas, apples, chips and juice it was yummy. That day a wave of bee's came and chased us we all got scared. After the performance we then got change into our school uniforms and we took photos of our group before we left the venue. The boys in Te Mura o Tāmaki jump in the van it was cool we went back to the school and we started playing bullrush on the field. We had a haakari it was a hangi and sweets also a drink next we got our prizes we got a shirt also tiakarete (chocolates). and a taōnga then we all went home.

Te Whare Waipaoa
Kia Ora ko Taynah toku ingoa ko Tamaki primary toku kura my claas room name is Te Puna Wairua my room number of my class room is room 5. Do use do kapa haka? because we do and whats your guys favorite sport ? because i like playing rugby also what kaupapa have you been researching on because we are researching on Whina Cooper and Mt Tarawera also we do harakeke and i wonder if yous do Harakeke.?
Do you know the ture and tikanga on how to cut the Harakeke you have to do a karakia before you cut the harakeke, you must cut the Harakeke on a diagonal cut so it doesn't rot when it rains and then you make it but your wairua must be good and do not be angry when you make it because you can mess it up.

Raranga Matihiko
Last week Thursday on the 4th of April,we had manuhiri came over from the Whare Pupuri Taonga (Auckland museum). The manuhiri that came over was Whaea Waimiiria and Whaea Stacey, They came to Tāmaki Primary to our class Te Akomanga Te Puna Wairua and we did something called iMovie and it was so fun. We played a game called Hour Code, and we also controlled some robots. But the fun part was when we did our pepeha, the whole class stood up! Even the year 4s and the year 5s!!!!Some of us in my class had to write the schools pepeha because not much of us know own own. We had to write it on paper and then say our pepeha. I felt like the pepeha was long but the cool thing is, everybody stood up to present. And we did not stand up in groups we did it on our own. But it was hard for a little bit, but we still did it. They came to show us how to put our digital pepeha into imovies.
I hope you like mine!!!
